"I enjoyed tremendously the Dairy of America. The format, telling the history of America from America's point of view is clever and innovative. Starting with the year 1783 and ending in the present, the protagonist (America) devotes a page or two of events happening each year. The entire manuscript has a fine balance of facts, opinion and humor. The clever cartoons augment the text and are a delight to read, laugh and enjoy. Diary of America is a book to read and keep handy nearby. It is great for providing an interesting easy to read history to the uninformed and even greater for bringing to mind so many already known but long forgotten facts to the well-read person in a volume containing less than 20,000 words stretching across 238 years.
